The pinnacle of off-road truck engine design, the Novarossi Mito 7 Tuned 7-Port .21 Off-Road Nitro Truck Engine with rear Ceramic Bearings. Introduced by Novarossi for the 2015 season, the Mito line of engines feature ground breaking design changes that easily outpace competitors.
Design considerations include patented "shifted" carburetor intake ports for improved fuel atomization and intake, rear ceramic bearing for better crankshaft load distribution, cooling head updates for improved heat dissipation and a 3 needle carb for finer adjustments across the power band.
Coolinghead:
New Cooling head design.
Rear ball bearing:
The new ball bearing reduces the inertia of the rotating masses and increases the engine's scavenging. You can see both the ball bearing and the manufacturing process result in the picture. These novelties give an increased throttle response and a higer top speed.
Carburettor:
The carburettor of this engine is made from plastic and in "reverse" style and has a sliding throttle valve. The new three tuning needles gives a better idle and improves the ability of the engine to return to low rpm after throttling.
Patented:
The shifted carburetor grants a better mixture flow inside through the crankase's intake. This gives the off-road buggy engine an improved fuel efficiency and a better power curve.
Pipe and Header:
