Question:
What is the smallest prop size I could run on the Novarossi R75F airplane motor? Could I run an 11 inch prop on it or would that be to small? The reason I ask is I do not have the ground clearance to fit a 12 inch prop like recommended for the motor.
Answer:
You can use a 11 inch prop, just increase the pitch by an inch over what you were going to use on the 12" diameter.
However, small props on larger aircraft do effect the flight characteristics with less air over the control surfaces. Not a problem to fly but just make a note of this.
Larger wheels would assist unless they are retracts. Glad you are enjoying your Novarossi Aircraft engine.
